SMART on openEHR (SMART) DEVELOPMENT
SMART on openEHR profile enabling SMART App Launch protocol integration with openEHR platforms. Defines the authentication and authorisation flow for standards-based application access to EHR data. The profile specifies the OAuth 2.0 scopes, launch context parameters, and token exchange flow adapted to openEHR’s EHR and patient identity model. It enables SMART-compatible EHR apps to launch within an openEHR platform context without requiring bespoke authentication integration.

This document describes the SMART framework for an openEHR enabled platform.
